This painting is augmented with distinct soundscapes that play when the viewer “arrives” at each of the four pathmarkers within the painting. The AR effects were prototyped in Unity/Vuforia which maps the pathmarkers in the painting to soundscapes. In front of the painting, a viewer, when using the app and ideally wearing a good set of noise cancelling headphones, could focus on one of the path markers in the painting which would elicit a distinct soundscape.
